AuxaOne (“we”, “us”, “our”) gives Australian businesses a dedicated team of skilled people, supported by AI and modern technology. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we look after it, and how you can access or correct it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
We only collect the personal information we need. Depending on how you deal with us, that can include:
- When you contact us: your name, email address, phone number, business name and role, and anything you include in your message.
- When you become a client: contact and billing details for the people we work with, and the information we need to set up and run your service.
- When you visit this website: our hosting provider automatically records standard technical information in its server logs, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you requested and when. We use this only to keep the site secure and working.
You can browse this website without telling us who you are. If you contact us, we can only help if you give us a way to reply.
Cookies and third-party services
This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. WordPress, the software that runs the site, sets cookies only for people who log in to manage it. If we add analytics in future, we will update this policy first.
The site’s typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. To display them, your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address. Google handles that information under its own privacy policy.
How we use personal information
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a consultation.
- To provide, manage and improve our services.
- To manage invoicing, accounts and our business records.
- To keep this website and our systems secure.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information. We will only send you marketing if you have agreed to it, and you can opt out at any time.
Information we handle for our clients
When we provide services such as customer support, back-office, finance or sales support, we may handle personal information about our clients’ customers, staff or suppliers. We handle that information on our client’s behalf, under our agreement with them and on their instructions. If you think one of our clients holds your information, please contact them first; we will help them respond.
Who we share it with
- Members of our team and contractors who need it to do their work, all under confidentiality obligations.
- Service providers we use to run our business, such as website hosting, email, cloud software and accounting providers.
- Anyone else you have asked us to share it with, or where the law requires or allows it.
Overseas disclosure
Our website is hosted in Australia. Some of our team members and service providers may be located outside Australia, and some cloud services, including Google Fonts, may store or process information overseas. Before we disclose personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to make sure it will be handled in a way that is consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.
How we protect it
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. Access is limited to the people who need it, this website uses an encrypted (https) connection, and our systems are protected by passwords and access controls. We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires, then delete or de-identify it.
If a data breach is likely to cause serious harm, we will notify the people affected and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, as the law requires.
Accessing and correcting your information
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing hello@auxaone.com.au. We may need to confirm your identity first. We will respond within 30 days, and if we can’t give you access, we will tell you why.
Questions and complaints
If you have a question or a complaint about how we have handled your personal information, email hello@auxaone.com.au. We will acknowledge it promptly and aim to resolve it within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated at the top.
